Thousands, even millions, will not live in space or on Mars. Laborers sent to work in space will die of it, and we will care as little as we do for miners today. In fact, they will probably be mining…
We are pretty much locked to this planet.
I wouldn't be surprised if (for example) we need a magnetic field like earth's and if we don't live in one, we get nasty problems.
