Chris is a great guy! When he lived in Minnesota he used to support the arts and came to one of our nephews plays. A really great stand up guy. I’m not surprised he would stand up for marginalized people.

In June 2023 we went to stay at our friend's house in Huntington Beach. I didn't know much about the place until I realized there were zero Pride Flags flying during Pride Month. I quickly realized what type of place it is.

I visited a town in Alberta, and it wasn't until 3 weeks in that I saw a black man. Stunned that he was the first, I actually stopped him. He said he was a visitor also, but that he had noticed the same thing.
That is what happened when I first visited Utah in 1992. I counted 6 black people during the week I visited. It has changed a lot for the better since then. Well, at least Salt Lake City has.
