I was the same but the trick was finding them on sale. They're $9.99-14.99, but some comic shops had them for 50% off, which fell right into the "Amount I'm Willing to Waste" range.

I got a few recently, obtained Bluestreak, Cliffjumper, and Hook. Very great quality and articulation given the price point of $10 at my LCS (I got 25% off from a recent sale). May have to get more of these. I don't care if I get duplicates.

If you look an aliexpress, you can just buy the case of them for like 40-50 USD, gives you all of them in the set, does not guarantee you get the chase variant for that wave though.
