I'm not fully convinced he will be able to get that far, but in the case it does happen, we will have to handle it ourselves. It's what the founders intended.

The founders were in a world where the despot was a 3 month journey away with rifles that took a minute to load and fire. None of that applies today.

If Trump has the military on his side, arming ourselves won’t make a difference.

It will. Urban warfare against a population familiar with its home front is incredibly disadvantageous, and even the worst dictators aren't interested in ruling an empire of ashes.

I'm not advocating this as anything other than a last resort solution, but if elections end it is a solution.
