Hi, asking for an artist friend (. ❛ ᴗ ❛.)
What would you do if someone wanted to commission you, but you saw their political beliefs/attitude towards others/basically type of person they are, and didn't like what you saw?
Would you still take the commission? Or would you decline?

Keep the work separate from politics, obviously if the WORK does not resonate with you, decline it and tell the client it's about your brand image.
If they're just mildly politically annoying I could probably look past it, but if they're full on "[race/LGBTQ/etc] deserve to die and don't deserve rights" then absolutely not, I don't need their money
However, on the other, people may see the commissioner's posts and think that the artist also follow those beliefs.
I'd say don't do it, personally.
Tho, I suppose it’ll be a slow but firm refusal in the end still
But I do understand a one-off if money is dire and there's no other option...
