We went through a multi-year audit, and fortunately resolved it in our favor with perseverance, but I can tell you the IRS was understaffed and Americans would be so much happier if their taxes were as simple as in other countries.

I could fix many of the IRS' problems by networking the computer systems of all the IRS offices across the country. The different offices didn't even have the same records related to our audit.

I think anyone who owns their own business/has freedom over their taxes, should absolutely not file. Mass numbers of people doing so in protest might send a message. Anyone paying attention knows this current federal government doesn’t deserve to be paid with the way they’re breaking the government.
