They wouldn’t have little leverage if they learned from Republicans and were willing to take it to them. What I saw of Murray’s speech blamed house republicans, letting senate republicans off the hook. Until they truly take the gloves off it’s futile.

They don’t have the same leverage as republicans did. You know why? First of all, Harry Reid changed filibuster rules to 50 votes on a shit load of votes. McConnell had 60 to block with. Secondly, Republicans have 53 votes. Democrats didn’t even have 50. Why does this matter?
