I'm sick of hearing the name "Donald Trump." I can't believe the American people have allowed him to pollute a decade of our lives. It's as if we attended Thanksgiving dinner and spent the whole time talking about the size and smell of turds.

oh my goodness... THIS is EXACTLY how I feel. I am so sick of him and having him dominate everyday of our lives. I just want to go for a walk and consider my options on what to make for dinner.
"Donald Trump is not going to be the nominee, because we are not going to allow - people will wake up and we're not going to allow a con artist to take over the party of [Abraham] Lincoln and [Ronald] Reagan." ~ Marco Rubio
One need only look at how US media has fawned over DJT for a decade, gave him a pass for his awful resume of bankrupted businesses & the 30-yr+ history of right-wing & social media re-writing, or ignoring, news events, daily, to understand how we got here. And the GOP war on Ed gets an assist, too.
The Washington bureau chief of the New York Times said last September of Trump: "He's entertaining." That annoying comment inspired this installment of my Stop the Presses newsletter.
“Entertaining” = an admission that he’s the kind of person who slows down to gawk at bloody freeway crashes. And not out of any desire to be helpful or safe.
A decade since they gave any pretense in the mainstream media to holding the GOP accountable.
They are gaslit weekly by GOP pols, who they provide a forum to present “both sides”, when the GOP promotes BS that doesn’t align with facts & reality.

A reminder that the Third Reich lasted 12 years.
