Working from home:
+ 2 extra hours in bed. Zero commuting.
+ just as productive
+ can get loads of house / life admin things done

Working from the office:
- 2h commuting / £10.10 costs
- pay for lunch £8
- all meetings still over Teams
+ Work gym

Sorry, no.

I mean, I like the work gym but it's not worth all the other sacrifices.

I also get to sit by a window when I'm wfh, and don't have to listen to people chewing
Absolutely. I’d go into an office. Sit in my own in silence. And then feel self-conscious as all my mtgs are on Teams. It’s just ridiculous.

Plus who would fuss my dogs whilst I’m in the office?!
Or sniff someone's microwaving of say FISH. INAPPROPRIATE MICROWAVE bugged me loads
I just inexplicably don't like other people's armpits enough to want to smell them for 30 minutes to go and sit on a vile chair for 7 hours and answer the same question about how to use a piece of software that the same colleague asks every week. There's a sofa here and it's clean.
Shocking stuff
I'm not sure you should include the £8 for lunch as you could take your own lunch. That's why 'they' want you back, though. They want that travel and lunch spend. Your life and free time aren't important.
My one day on the office. Unproductive. Up 40 minutes earlier so central heating on 40 minutes earlier. 34ml round trip commute. £9 fuel plus depreciation. Half mile walk with heavy bags. Work overlooking a pub beer garden. Noisy & distracting especially in summer. Would need two family cars not one
