The fact is, if unions were bad for the workers ability to organize and get benefits and fair wages, corporations wouldn't spend millions of $ on companies whose entire purpose is busting unions and stopping them from organizing. Clearly, unions benefit the workers against corporate abuse.

That doesn't change the fact that police were created for the sole purpose of murdering and arresting union activists, and that violence was necessary to resist it.
