Does this timeline imply two stops in Honduras or a stopover in Honduras for refueling and crew prior to El Salvador and what happened to the planes after El Salvador. I suspect the support crews were staged in Cano.

By 6:50 pm, AUSA should have been on the phone giving the turn-around order. Wonder what would have happened if a court day. I have had judges make me call people from court.

Useful, but "in the air" or "in Honduras is not the same. Per Tokyo Convention, US jurisdiction over US-registered aircraft continues until "landing run ends" on foreign soil: https://treaties.un.org/doc/db/terrorism/conv1-english.pdf

Either way, the plane is executing a U.S. government contract for the duration of its mission, so hard to say it ever drops off of the court’s jurisdiction.

The court's jurisdiction is over the US agency (e.g. Homeland Defense) itself, not the aircraft or its location. The agency must comply with court orders regardless of where their assets are physically located, even if international aviation conventions like Tokyo apply to the aircraft.

They've been doing this a lot too, not just in this instance. Like in cases about TROs on illegal impoundments, request a delay in proceedings and then go ahead and withhold money during a period in which the TRO would have been in effect if not for the requested delay. Contempt orders need to fly.
