They're doing these damaging cuts at "record speed" through arbitrary use of AI. Those banned word lists, the webpage takedowns, and even deportations are driven by sloppy, unchecked and unaudited AI output, guaranteed.

GAO is part of the legislative branch and they bend over backward to ensure that they are non-partisan and fact-based. They work incredibly hard to remain in the good graces of both sides, whic is why you see so many "progress made, challenges remain" reports.

USIP has no one to stand up for it and some of the most valuable real estate (land and building) in America. GAO is a legislative branch agency that is popular with Rs and Ds alike because they do such good work. Congress might move to gut it but I doubt Musk knows they exist
