It used to be not for profit and no one called it communism. 32 of the 33 most prosperous nations have universal healthcare. We are the only one that doesn’t. Most of them are not communist.
I lived in two in Europe, not universal health care like in UK or Canada. Swiss have a marketplace like here, but its larger more competition. Germany has a mix and not like UK at all. I generally like the care in both countries versus here more people focused versus technology.
