Not open yet but it won't be long before this 3-leaf Akebia (Akebia trifoliata) is flowering again. The flowers are so dark as to look almost black unless the light is shining right through them. This vine is hardier than the 5-leaf Akebia & grows as a sun screen on my west facing porch. 🌱📸
