I had "mild" CP at age 6, and my parents assumed I was immune. I never even considered getting the vax when it came out. Unfortunately, I didn't have "full immunity" and got it again at age 29, and I almost died.
I am so glad my daughter was able to get the vax & never has to worry about it.
