Here it is! Come for the 19% who favoured a permanent 10pm curfew but don't sleep on the 35% (!) who wanted people arriving from overseas to spend 10 days in quarantine. Forever!

Lol, but instead, denialists and minimizers like you who resent *checks notes* public health and safety measures get to keep inhaling and spewing a disease that is disabling people while you bitch about pensioners. Just admit you're gross and you want TERF Island to be a giant eugenics experiment.
Doesn’t this really just show that polling is a terrible way to understand public opinion on policy? It’s practically impossible to frame a question that measures public understanding of the trade offs involved in real world policy.
Agree, plus the poll being conducted in 2021 means people would struggle to imagine the reality of a post-Covid world, so those responses I take with a pinch of salt. (not to say that there isn't a % that would still say yes to those restrictions now, but it wouldn't be 30-40%...)
Sure, that's a factor. It's also true that 10% of people will agree with almost any proposition, however bananas. And, yes, "polling says this is good/bad" is a dreadful way to make policy or, indeed, politics.

Mind boggles how high the figure would be for *coming* from foreign countries...
