Honestly studios like EA arent looking for a game that just sells well. They look for the next Fortnite, League and so on. A cash cow that earns billions.

Everything else is just fluff to them and that's why they'll never succeed with it.

for extra funzies: From what i know Veilguard's problem was unrealistic sales goals, plus it's kind of a niche title.

It's not that we want live service, it's that Veilguard isn't in a position to be the next damn Balatro!

Also Kingdom Come 2 had one hell of an opening act.
