My Ryobi 40V USB-PD adapter is finished. With several of these batteries combined, I now have ~600Wh of portable power.

Great idea! Any idea what voltages and currents the adapter supports on the PD side? I managed to buy a big bucks v-mount battery with USB C PD that supported all the voltages except 12V which was the one I needed. Grr.

Thanks! So far I've confirmed it supports 5V and 12V, not sure about 9V or 20V. It rapidly charges my phone, and powers my TS80P and Pinecil portable soldering irons. I'll try to test more and report back.

Cool! I think 12V is an optional voltage in the PD spec which is why some adapters and chargers and batteries don't support it.

TIL you can use a MacBook as a USB-PD tester with this command:
ioreg -arw0 -c AppleSmartBattery
In the XML output, there are entries under AdapterDetails/UsbHvcMenu.
The MacBook adapter lists 5V 2.96A, 9V 2.98A, 15V 2.99A, 20V 3.39A.
This power bank lists 5V 3A, 9V 3A, 12V 2.5A.

I've updated my Mac power adapter tester app. It still supports the CLI, but now also has a web server / page option! Reloading the page shows any changes to the connected adapters.
The CLI can now generate an HTML page in addition to XML, JSON, and Markdown.

I ran the ioreg command with my CalDigit TS4 dock. Looks like it supports 3A @ 5V, 3A @ 9V, 3A @ 15V, and 4.9A @ 20V. No 12V. Pretty cool.
