More disturbingly, the Lancet previously noted that it is not implausible to estimate that up to 186 000 or even more deaths could be attributable to the current conflict in Gaza.

This is once you take into account those under the rubble or obliterated by bombs.

Which means that likely death toll to date some 76,000. Bombardment more intense than that of Dresden / Hamburg in WW2; Bombing scale & rate consistent with indiscriminate, disproportionate targeting. Little or no human checking of huge target list.
