I know Kirsten Bell is considered cringe to a lot of people these days. And she may not bathe her kids regularly, but her speaking up that she was going to vaccinate her daughters matters imho. These people live in echo chambers that can make it easy to not realize most kids are in fact vaccinated

They've made it clear that they only act out of self interest, so force them. It is a legitimate use of the power of the state that is in the interests of everyone, including the ignorant.

Unfortunately the result of that seems to be increasing number of antivaxx parents creating an alternative homeschool universe which incidentally also perpetuates misinformation and neglect. There's a whole ignorant homeschooled generation growing up out there, and only some of them make it out.

I know, and there’s no simple solution other than reevaluating the child at every point of contact with society. Every pediatrician appointment, etc. The alternative is to mandate yearly inspections with pediatrician vs CPS. Could be done but I worry it would be too invasive and cause backlash.
