I wept last night when I heard this. I was part of Operation Allies Rescue/Operation Allies Welcome. I stayed on and helped set up a whole village on a parade ground on a base in fucking New Jersey to help over 40,000 refugees with their emigration here. And I just cannot believe our betrayal.
