Memes aside I swear we had a couple of ducks like this on our lake recently. Like a couple months ago. I thought they were goslings at first because we do get lots of geese. But doesn't seem likely. Maybe another similar small sized duck?

Never mind, I guess they are in Illinois so maybe they did hang out on our lake for a couple days. Unfortunately I didn't really get a clear photo because they were very shy and easily startled so I could barely get within 100 yards. Then some actual geese did show up and scare them off.
