In 2003 I was in a shop & Clocks by Coldplay was playing. When it came to the lyrics "Confusion that never stops..." a random bloke sang over the next bit with "sweaty balls & itchy cock". For over 20 years that's all I hear when that song plays. Thanks random bloke.

"Just a minute, I can't hear you for the Average Shite Band..."
Thanks to a work colleague, Madonna's "Erotic" lyrics are now -
"Bill Oddie, Bill Oddie put your hands all over my body".
"Do you believe in love up the bum"

For years, decades even, I thought the spoken opening lyric to Bon Jovi's Living On A Prayer was "Chinatown, not so long ago." Apparently it's "Once upon a time, not so long ago." Even _knowing_ that, I can't hear it.
She was a junkie. Gonna kick tomorrow. Rig makes more sense.
It's part of a Peter Kay routine also.
Ta.
Get a life.
How’s your songwriting going?
Obviously not as successful as Coldplay.
I've got nothing against them, don't get me wrong.
If you compare Shiver from Parachutes to Clocks there's a world of difference in the effort put into the crafting of the songs.
I’m a songwriter, too, and I find writing something ‘lazy’ really hard.
But when it comes to songwriting D to Am, then Am to Em in a repetitive loop is a bit, you know.
