I'm a cllr (in Scotland). I've always worked from home. Post-COVID, it's easier because we can just as effectively join meetings online now too, without any detriment. It's much more efficient and reduces travelling costs. I'm more productive at home, no issues re confidentiality, more flexibility.

I attend most formal meetings in person but it's useful to have the option for possible infection control! Also good diary management to maximise attendance 👌
