Sunday afternoon done right. Am so enjoying this translated collection of Gujarati pulp fiction, some of which I have read in the original.

Golibar, Varsha Adalja & a couple of Kanu Bhagdev. My local raddiwala, when I lived in Bombay, doubled as a second-hand bookshop & lending library and was extremely well stocked with Gujju pulp fiction!

Would love to know which Golibar novels you read and which are your favorites. I am a super fan even though I can't read the language!
(The other authors too, but as an oddball indie publisher I have special mad respect for Golibar's wille zur macht)

The Tamil ones are beautiful looking volumes! I can’t wait to get started on them.
