I know nothing about hockey, but a lot of people at BioWare are really into it. So sometimes, I'll look up the Oilers scores and be like "yeah, we won last night, go team!" to blend in with the Canadians 😂

X hates everything, all the time. I live in Edmonton and have attended many Oilers games. Vancouver jerseys are always present in the stands, often in large numbers. Flames jerseys, not so much.
I've been a Ducks fan since the 90s. If you get a chance, go to a game at least once. Almost nothing beats the experience of a live game (except a live Stanley Cup match).
If an NHL game feels like it'd be too much, a minor league game is also an awesome experience! (Go Gulls! Go Firebirds!)
