One way or another Canada needs to offer safe haven to trans Americans. We’re not perfect here but The Canadian Human Rights Act prohibits discrimination on the basis of sexual orientation, gender identity or expression and there’s no such thing as bad weather, only bad coats.

Been trying to convince my parents, in their eighties and disabled, to sponsor a live in caregiver. Not much interest til I suggested it might be a pathway to Canadian citizenship for some American trans/enby person. The best of the generation that was there for the draft dodgers knows what’s what.
