Sorry, but I live 250 meters from Romoli Bar and Pasticceria. They were voted last year as making the best maritozzi in Rome. So, while I will follow all your other recipes, I will pass on this one and take a walk down the street. But thank you for all the other recipes of the day!!!
They look glorious, N! They certainly make me very happy just seeing them! What a treat, my lovely! You never disappoint, with your beautiful recipes and indeed your books and programs but also being yourself, youβre lovely, always! π
I love this Maritozzi recipe so muchβΌοΈ and made them many times! (Also I must admit that I added more filling than recipe said because I'm too greedy. Sorry.) I'm definitely going to make them again this weekend.
Maritozzi are one of my favorite pastries to make and eat, and I haven't done either in a while, so now I must! And your easy-method Maritozzi sound like the perfect recipe to use!
Oh we are these on Easter Sunday last year in Rome! I can't go back to Rome just yet, but I might see if I can make these (I did sample some cacio e pepo gelato while there, I won't be making that. It was an acquired taste)
I'm gearing up to make your most delicious cardamon-infused Hot Cross Buns again this year - wildly successful last Easter and soooo good. Best HCB ever according to the critics (partner, friends, children, dogs). https://www.nigella.com/recipes/hot-cross-buns
