How about the press doing its job, asking tough questions and follow-ups, calling out the lies. Question the answers. Be objective, contextual and balanced. I guess it’s a case of “everyone has a boss”. The bosses at conservative-controlled media continue to shamelessly normalize a Hitler wannabe.

I don’t think they’re accomplishing anything by being there. He would feel starved for attention if they left. He can’t make a big show of excluding anyone if they aren’t there. He’s making them dance/jump through hoops to gain favor. It’s degrading and inflates his ego. That’s just my take.
