The thing about trying new stuff during commissions is that you're kinda "pressured" by yourself to make it right so the results depends on how you feel about that new stuff and how you react during the process. It is like a "good" pressure and knowing where to stop or continue. You know your limits

I'll tell you my biggest secret to making BGs,the BGs I do are usually NOT detailed, most of the times it's just random blobs of colors and few textures and well placed lights vs shadows, the thing that makes it look detailed is that I blur them a bit 😂😂😂😂
