I don’t think it would be possible to overstate what a major insult to democracy and freedom Bill 34 is. Straight up, it’s just gross.

Bill 34, the UCP’s new privacy law, makes it harder for Albertans to access important public information. Like info on class sizes, cancer wait-times, or political backroom advice. Requests for this info can now be ignored. This is the latest in the UCP’s pattern of secrecy that weakens democracy.
