Try making a square on the floor with blue painters tape. It works on 1 of my cats, but not the other. 1 of them will lay on ANYTHING new on the floor. Shoes, an envelope, a scarf, a long cardboard tube (that was funny). They're such intriguing animals.

A friend who has owned cats for nearly two decades told me recently he had no idea cats liked boxes. I couldn’t believe it!

I’ve since spammed him so many photos of my cats in boxes, he’s now leaving a shoebox out for a week to see if his cat climbs in.

Remember this is also a tip for Xmas gifts for cats—buy anything ( it doesn’t matter what), put it in a box. On Xmas, let the cat open the box. Throw whatever gift is in the box away because the cat will only be interested in the box.
