I have a set of expansions I've wanted to learn for a while so I've really got to get on that tbh.

Which one? Strawberries and the Abyss? Cataan: The Garfunkler? Settlers of Nebraska?
I may have made some of these up.

My family particularly enjoys Seafarers of Catan. It adds some length to the game, but it's a lot of fun. We haven't played for a while, though. Might be time to get it out again.

Once we added Cities & Knights it was the only way we played (and opened the floodgates to having to buy shelves for our games).

This is the main expansion I have that I want to try. I keep hearing really good things.

I second all of those good things. It doesn't really add any complexity to the game; it just opens up strategies.

Certainly in our household, buying expansions and actually playing the expansions are two very separate hobbies!

Cities and Knights makes it a whole other game. Love the extra layer of complexity. And finding land randomly in ships is fun too.
