The definition of an EEZ ought to be enough to scare the living shit out of most who live on the coasts since it gives the country with jurisdiction authority over all living and non-living resources. Right now, these are the unmapped areas in what they say are US waters. What do you notice?

These areas were established by the UN. Both the US and Russia are permanent members of the UNSC and have veto power over the rest of rest (the others are the UK, France and China - the apparent winners of WWII totally ignoring Canada's contributions at home and abroad). Trump hates the UN.
