They are also friendly toward humans. I used to think I was special when they allowed me to hang out, but then I read that roadrunners generally like humans.

They seem to generally have way less fear than you would think is safe. I relate to them in that way.

I have noticed the hummingbirds all hide when they see the roadrunners coming.
