Yes. Caring for the immigrant/alien/traveler/wanderer is foundational to the social ethic of the old and new testaments.

you can say a lot about Christian doctrine but "care for the traveler" is like, one of the most important themes in nearly every book of every Abrahamic faith. its so foundational to the moral system. we need blasphemy laws but only non edgy atheists get to be the judges
