Without even going into the discussion of 'stalinism' being a misnomer as trots purposefully use it, the idea that Marxism and feminism being compatible should be clearly understood by anybody referring to themselves as a Marxist/Communist as incorrect.

It seems that Stalinist anti-feminism was less of an obstacle to Marxist-feminist thought in the US than in Europe during the 1940s and 1950s. How do we account for that?

Communism doesn't need to adapt to bourgeois movements, it is already complete as a practical-theoretical framework for liberation.
