Musk’s megalomania grows apace. He’s clearly trying to engineer a far right revolution across the west. He’s now backed the AfD and Reform. I’m sure he’ll also get behind Le Pen.

Who remembers Steve Bannon these days? Same ambitions, same ignorant attempts at meddling abroad, same worried takes how he was an unstoppable mastermind and would succeed, went nowhere. When it was all talk about "President Bannon," Trump's ego could not let that stand and he was on the way out.
He is just as ignorant as Bannon, won't go anywhere either. Else he would understand that maybe discreet financing might work, but such tweets are a kiss of death. Worst look for a nationalist party to be viewed as the lackey of a foreign billionaire.
I wonder if he is influential enough to pull that off. Methinks, he suffers from a low saturation threshold. I think he could become uncool rather quickly.
I still wonder what is Musk’s endgame. Is this just a ginormous temper tantrum because of his trans daughter? Does he really think democracy should be replaced with authoritarianism? If so, how does that benefit him?
Super rich "Liberalists" support right wing in order to prevent international collaboration and regulation on wealth and super rich, based on nihilism and egocentrism
he doesn’t need to control the parties, just the information.
look how that absolute lunatic (he met aliens at Davos!) came first in the presidential elections in Romania, before these were annulled.

let’s be worried now, take it seriously, and laugh about it later.
I am not against watching out whether Musk tries to advance such an agenda. But being worried as a first reaction seems like falling for his shtick.
I dunno.
We are the ants.
Shame so few people with any influence cared or did anything about it then
