I was an expert witness in Huang v. Tesla, and I got to watch Tesla's hired expert try to defend their safety record. Even their expert in a multi-million dollar trial was limited to using whatever was on Tesla's website. It led to some bizarre exchanges. I assumed the internal data was worse.
