Ads featuring fake CBC articles have inundated the social media platform X in recent weeks. The ads are designed to lure Canadians into a sophisticated scam that uses Russian internet infrastructure, CBC News has found.

Our mainstream media and social media platforms have been compromised for quite some time now. We need a change of ownership and stricter regulations over ALL of our media outlets
Longer than “recent weeks,” when I still had my account over there I’d been seeing ads like that for at least a year. My ‘favourites’ were the ones trying, for reasons I still have yet to work out, to slander Mary Berg of all people.
I am hopeful, as an American, that the Canadians are smarter than us. That they think independently and that they will block eloni and his fascist lie machine. Canada, please do everything we didn't and save your people and country.

Isn't Twitter now almost entirely made up of Russian bots? Of course, its hard to tell the difference between a MAGA follower and a Russian bot.
Both have the same 1st grade education level and grasp of the English language.
