The Ancients and Thin Edge of the Wedge are a couple podcasts that interview archaeologists. Both will mention if the person interviewed has a new book on the topic of the podcast, but the book isn't the focus.

I never listen to them but almost all the people I know involved with the main APN bailed a few years ago.

I would personally suggest Ologies by Alie Ward and Science Friday, and any other "research for regular people" oriented podcasts, which seems to be a sweet spot for sustainability of media enterprises. A lot of people also love "You're wrong about" but that's maybe less easy to do.

It seems pretty bleak any more. I wonder if the New Books Network would be an option. Not sure how they work but they do have some archaeology pubs.
