I was at the doctor's office the other day and two older patients somehow started talking politics. One mentioned Trump's conviction and the other, who said he was retired LEO, countered by saying "oh, the Bidens are equally corrupt, all pols are", and I wanted to scream "read Hannah Arendt!"

I mean yeah, but also they’re getting hit with same tactic used in full-blown authoritarian kleptocracies, which is all about convincing people that there’s no difference between the person who becomes a lobbyist and the person who actively loots the county.

I previously did not have a high estimation of the Yishuv/Haganah, but I did not know how low that could go.
