Verified. My wife is a transplant patient at the Riverside. She's gone for blood work & other patients & staff weren't masked.
Masking in Ottawa hospitals is optional in cafés, corridors, & elevators, but are required in clinical areas. We've seen unmasked people and staff in those clinical areas.

I go there to pick up my wife's immunosuppressant meds on the 5th floor. I've got to find the staircase so I can avoid the crowded elevator.
Yep, we've both been fine & still novids. We even went to a few patios this summer for the 1st time in 5 years. C19 was low, we wore masks to get through the restaurant, & removed them outside.
How have you been?
I got Covid year two but other than that I’ve been ok touch wood. I’ve been testing waters (nac, concerts etc) but I’m always masked. Work is another matter as I work with little kids lol
Working with one of the primary carriers of COVID would be daunting. We're both retired now & in our own house, which makes it easier for us.
Glad you're better. A friend's wife in TO has long COVID now & it's been terrible for her.
