As a Trump biographer I'll say this however many times folks need to hear it: it won't be OK. It's going to be worse than you imagine. Trump was a national emergency starting years ago; no one took seriously those who said so. Media normalized him and Musk—who's just as dangerous. A hurricane nears.

Thing is, most never heard these things. We heard it from traditional media / “liberal” media (I sneer at the notion that the @nytimes.com and @washingtonpost.com belong to that category); but the majority of white, ill-informed or uneducated voters only watch / listen Fox, OANN, Joe Rogan, (1 / 2)

Well, considering the media environment, they may have no idea. And I think we need to take seriously the idea that, beyond cluelessness and stupidity, they may not care. Bc they. like. it. They like the hate and violence. They choose this after living through it the first time.
