This is a good place to start looking for an agent. At least the people you will find as you look for an agent who represents your genre has been vetted.

Yeah…so easy 😅 finding your audience is going to be key, but I hope it all goes smoothly! I’m still unsure of where people are going after TikTok. Lemon8 just doesn’t have the same appeal

💯 Lemon8 is a hot mess. Maybe it gets better, but also with its connection to TikTok it could get banned too. No one quite has the feature set that I need yet. Multi-guest LIVES are critical. And organic discovery. For now it’s Bluesky and YouTube for me.

I never really got into watching actual videos on YouTube as opposed to just having it on for music. If they changed the algorithm to actually suggest new videos that would help. We’ll probably have a new TikTok-esque app in a few months, but it’ll take time for something to fill the void

YouTube is a lot like TikTok in that you have to start watching videos and then the algorithm kicks in and it really is good at recommending stuff that you’re going to wanna watch. It’s just a longform content.

I’ve tried with their music and it just gives me the same songs over and over again with as if it has like 4 playlists it thinks I like and only barely changes them. I’ll have to try with regular videos though and see if that helps
