One night at practice, while trying to block a teammate’s layup, another teammate clashed into me and fell right onto my knee.
Sadly, I don’t have any pictures of my knee then, but it basically looked like the photo below

After waiting two months for an X-ray and MRI, I was finally put on the list for surgery.
But it wasn’t until six months later—when I went to the hospital for my appendix removal—that my parents were able to schedule the ACL surgery.
Ok, now comes the gross stuff, so brace yourselves, people.
Here are some pictures of my knee after the surgery and a picture of a little “oopsie” I had the day after my birthday.
(I placed too much force on my knee and one of the sutures popped 🤭).
After 9 months of physical therapy and training, I can proudly say that my knee is basically good as new!
Sometimes, when there’s high humidity, it aches a little, but nothing too bad
Down below is how the scar looks right now. (Pretty well, if you ask me)
