Fair point, but personally, I'm more concerned with supporting oligarchs like Zuckerberg than I am about the remote possibility of my messages being accessed by Telegram's admin people. And no, I wouldn't describe "Secret Chats" as a nightmare; in my experience, they're easy to use.
