ive been considering line dont exist anymore since i read my second economics textbook in the 8th grade, apropos of nothing. "hey, we all do so much to make this line go up, but past a point it doesnt help or hurt?" wack.
All the currently powerful people are powerful because line go up. Therefore, suggesting line don't exist could be seen as a threat by all the currently powerful people.
(And they'd be right - it *is* a threat, to them in particular.)
I think part of it is also just the fact that he can drop millions of dollars into your race if you cross him and for Dem candidates the Dem party won't say anything about it or defend you
It's hard because you are not just confronting musk, you are also confronting the rocket, the car, the technologies, the innovations which are all associated with him. Most importantly you are fundamentally confronting THE embodiment of the American dream.

Remember the blitz of "I did that" stickers? It's time for stickers of our own; bumper stickers.
Could line go sideways?
