Teen and I make a dedicated decompress-and-laugh time at the end of every evening, watching a few episodes of a comedy series together for an hour or so before bed. We take turns choosing. His last pick was Brooklyn99 and we’re almost done so I need to come up with the next one. Any recommendations?

and if you ever get access to a dropout account, Game Changer is a similar sort of vibe and a lot of fun!
I really enjoyed "The Middle" and "Mom", and also "Hacks".
Hadn't heard of them before but clicked on them when bored and I liked them, even laughed out loud sometimes 😀

@jackmonroe.bsky.social my teen watched all episodes around age 15, and still returns to it to relax. I've seen a few episodes & they are eccentric British comedy @ it's best. I'd give it a strong recommendation.

Also, if you are going for Scrubs next, Cougar Town and Shrinking are also excellent.
It's one of those brilliant Scottish comedies that all seem to have come out around the same time but wouldn't make english BBC until years later and then shown around midnight.
