My second is that I struggle to remember this version of Galadriel has lost Celeborn as well as Finrod, so her scenes haven't been recontextualised on rewatch. I'll try to keep it in mind in the coming weeks, but for now I wish they had just made her meet him for the first time on the next seasons.

I'm trying to reserve judgment until I see how it all plays out, but Celebrian not being born yet is the strangest part of the whole Celeborn thing to me.

She's a Second Age baby in the book's timeline, so it makes sense her birth would not have transpired if he's missing. I can see other arguments for why she should be around on the show, but her father's absence is not one of them.

It's one thing I noted afterwards too. I really wished we had more scenes Brimby, Gal and Elrond in s1. More so with Elronds fam history with the Silmaril / Feanorians
